Accommodation && Coexistance - something really tough in this world and something most don’t follow (I’m trying my best to).

How, What?

excuse moi

Okay this one’s pretty weird, as it’s a culmination of previous 4 blogs in a very broad manner, but hear me out. I’m not gonna talk about anatomy of a tree, cause that’s to much, but basic parts of a tree showcase life. The entire tree does showcases life.

It’s not quite exactly distinct, but it’s there. Each part represents different things. Before I go into what is what, I’m going to explain how we live our lives.

Of course, we cannot take this AS IT AS 100%, but some most parts can be taken into consideration for the analogy alone. Timeline of human age mentioned in this is PURELY a VAGUE number, there are MULTIPLE factors to decide this.

Our Purpose?

We all have our own set of goals to live, its either to follow our passion and make that as our career, or fulfil our family stuff, etc. We either live for a materialistic life, or we set out on a goal.

The problem is, to LIVE it all is something quite tough. To be able to manage family, responsibilites, our goals, and our mental health.

This is where the TREE anatomy analogy of sorts comes into picture.

Branches

Each MAJOR branch in a tree depicts each value of life that one must take into account on growing and living. We have:

  • family
  • personal goals
  • our mental health
  • environment
  • society
  • friends

In each branch, we have various other branches too. Consider them as sub-values within each branch, cause when it comes to “one” value, there would be n number of thoughts and idealogies for the same thing.

Roots

We have roots scaling downwards for water. Roots essentially search for water, thus providing growth for the tree. Our actions are depicted by roots, how deep we go into something, how we accommodate everything. How we provide ourselves with resources for OUR growth.

Trunk

The sturdy part, this is a result of our actions. Due to the roots doing its main job of finding water and supplying sufficient nutrients, it grows out to become a wonderful tree.

Similarly our lives are a result of this. Our actions are correlated with the trunk size.

Correlation Time

connect dem dotss . . .

Let’s plant a tree and I’ll do a textual timelapse on the growth of a tree, while simultaneously relating that with our human life.

ALSO, trust me it makes sense.

Sapling Stage 🌰

This is the starting of the tree, we have initial resources provided for our growth and security. This is provided by the seeds. Our parents in our case provide us with enough resources for our development.

The sapling grows and we grow out initial branches and leaves. This showcases a world where we are brought up with IDEALOGIES / MINDSET and METHODOLOGIES which are heavily influenced by our parents and family predominantly.

We can consider this as 0-16 years in human time vaguely.

Young Tree 🌱

By this time, our tree is bigger than a sapling and reaching the young tree stage. More new yet tender branches sprout out. Branches that initially grew now THICKEN.

By this age (about 17-22) our initial values, ethics, and morals that our parents grow up thicken with us. We get accustomed and we take that as our bible. This doesn’t exactly mean that we accept it, we bend it to accomodate our values too.

THUS, this is where we initially start ACCOMMODATING our parents points and ours. Something we often don’t do in a broader scale of life.

Mature Tree 🌲

By now we have few more branches, quite experienced in life I supposed, about 22 - 45 in the human age. AGAIN, broad numbers, giving a very vague idea.

We have multiple branches now in our tree, all of them are which quite thick and has many sub-branches and lush with leaves.

We’ve met MANY people in our lives explaining their ideologies (of course all indirectly) and we acquire them from their aspects, try to inculcate them for our benefits.

We now have:

  • academia
  • self-sustaining responsibilites
  • mental health being a major concern (not saying in younger ages this doesn’t matter, don’t take everything black and white).
  • our own personal goals.

Some would be married by now, thus they would have to accommodate their partners, if a child is present, the child too. Thus sacrifices are made.

Regardless of marital status, sacrifices are made. We try so hard to ensure that every aspect is fulfilled.

This isn’t people pleasing, this is to ensure that we live a good life. Sacrifices of our own are mostly done, by not meeting and finishing our personal goals mostly. Thus, numerous leaves are withered away by nature herself from branches.

The branches alone stay, depicting our inner subconcious wanting it to be present with the leaves, yet that doesn’t happen.

An Old Tree

Anyone above 50 is basically is well experienced now. They’ve seen the brutality of life, how tough it is to be there. For trees its quite the same in a way.

We still have our branches, NEW leaves either sprout out in reality of trees, but we won’t be able to achieve them at that time, if we do then we’re literally a tree lol.

We never know who gets what, so yeah.

Where am I going with this?

The point is I feel like a genius for realising all this, but at the same time I don’t have head weight, cause I’m a nobody. I’m yet another human being living in this dark world.

I’m trying to spread out my roots so that I’m able to tackle and achieve it all, which is where we humans lack.

Many of our friends we know have few goals, these goals predominantely focus on a single branch of a tree. No one realises that we have many branches, no one realises the importance, the depth behind each one.

No one tries to look beyond their horizon, as they’re to ignorant, comfortable, and mostly afraid of reality.

Every branch of their own has their own unique justification which is very much valid.

Realisation is needed to be done for two things:

  • accommodation
  • reducing conflicts between different branches

To be able to realise that we humans live a life like a tree, trying to support each branch, supporting our own growth, whilst taking care of the world, our health itself is a huge burden in disguise. The mount of weight each action causes is humongous as we spread our roots deeper and vast into the underground.

It sounds a lot like people pleasing, but JUST to realise itself brings a huge load on our backs.

We must realise all of our actions consequences too. This is where I love Thomas Shelby’s politics analogy. This is extremely incredible.

He talks bout politics there, but we can use that for ourselves on approaching life, left and right and MULTIPLE other routes. Essentially to live in peace is our goal and to accomplish something.

To be in the centre is what I refer to as realisation. Just trying to live in this dark world.

This raises one question; is there a correct way of life apart from “leftist”, “rightist”, and “centrist”?
